A new bill has been introduced to the Texas Legislature. Bill HJR 47 will create a state gaming committee overseeing the development of future casinos. The proposed legislation would also allow casinos to be built only on established racetracks and areas with a population of more than 675,000.

State Representative Carol Alvarado is sponsoring the bill.

Possible casino locations are Austin, Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio, Houston, and El Paso. 슬롯게임

If approved, the proposed bill would also protect Native American tribes. Tribes have opposed expanding the game from Pass because of concerns that it will lead to a decline in Eagle Pass Casino’s business. This is the only casino in the state right now.

Supporters of the bill believe it will help the struggling horse racing industry. They also believe that opening casinos in Texas will prevent gamblers from spending money in other states. The money earned from the casino will go to fund projects in Texas.

Religious conservative groups oppose the bill. Expanded games are not what people want. Similar gaming bills have been previously proposed but rejected.
