The value of Bayern Munich’s squad has plummeted.
On Monday, soccer stats outlet Transfer Markt released new valuations for active players after the conclusion of the 2023-2024 German Bundesliga season.
The most notable change was a significant drop in the value of Bayern’s squad. Bayern saw 14 of their first-team players drop in value. This is after 12 years of irrelevance since the 2011-2012 season.
The player with the biggest drop in value from last time was Kingsley Coman. His price dropped by a whopping €15 million. He is now valued at €50 million ($741 million).
Joshua Kimmich and Alfonso Davis, who have been disappointing all season, also dropped by €10 million. They were both valued at €50 million. Harry Kane, who had his best season at Bayern, also dropped by €10 million to €100 million. Kane’s decline is likely a natural consequence of his age, rather than the aftermath of his team’s struggles.
Kim Min-jae’s ransom value has also dropped significantly. He was valued at €55 million (approx. KRW 81.5 billion), but his value dropped by another €10 million as a result of his ups and downs in the second half of the season. Even when he was performing well in the middle of the season, his valuation was hard to take, dropping by 5 million euros (about 7.4 billion won), and then another 10 million euros for a brief second-half wobble.
Dayo Upamecano, who had the worst second half of the season among Bayern’s center backs, only dropped by €5 million. Compared to Kim Min-Jae’s €15 million drop in value in just one season, this is a hard pill to swallow.
There are some players whose valuations have increased. Jamal Moussaoui 안전놀이터 Alaa’s valuation increased by €10 million to €120 million. The Bundesliga’s top talent is now valued at €20 million. Among the first-team players, Musial was the only one to rise. Only Konrad Reimer and Aleksandar Pavlovic, who played regularly in the first team, saw a slight increase, but most players saw their prices drop compared to last season.
Meanwhile, the ransom ranking for Asian players has also changed, as Kim Min-jae’s ransom is now valued at €45 million. Kim was second only to Takefusa Kubo, who leads Asia with 60 million euros 슬롯 보증 사이트 (about 88.9 billion won), but the lower valuation puts him on par with Kaoru Mitoma and Son Heung-min.
Mitoma, who shined in the English Premier League (EPL) for one season, Kim Min-jae, who has dominated the Turquoise League and Serie A since entering Europe, and Son Heung-min, who has established himself as a superstar representing the EPL beyond Tottenham. Fans can’t help but question the valuation.
