Hard Rock Casino Rockford announced it was adding live table games from Wednesday, April 5, after the casino received formal approval from the Illinois Gaming Commission.
Live Blackjack, 3-card poker, and Ultimate Texas Holdham are available from today, with live table game hours from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday through Saturday.
“We are happy to provide this highly requested amenities on the casino floor,” said Hard Rockford President Geno Iaprate. “We are extremely proud of the hard work our team has done to make it happen for our guests, and we thank the Illinois Gaming Commission staff for working with us to bring live table games to Rockford.”
The addition of live table games has created more than 20 new employment jobs at Rockford Casino, with the current team members around 300. Casinos continue to attract impressive numbers of guests, tourists and tax revenues, which have been steadily increasing for the state and community.
“As demand grows, more tables, game types and team members become inevitable,” Iafrate said. “Our second table game dealer school will start soon as we continue to add teams and more will follow.”
