Lim Hye-dong, a former professional baseball player, attended a court hearing Thursday on an arrest warrant requested last week for him on charges of extorting large sums of money from Korean major leaguers Kim Ha-seong and Ryu Hyun-jin. The 28-year-old Lim, appearing for the hearing at the Seoul Central District Court in the morning, remained tight-lipped in the face of reporters’ questions.
