Seoul Eland, which is aiming for promotion under new head coach Kim Do-gyun, has selected Australian midfielder Peter, 28, as its first signing for the 2024 season.
Eland announced on Jan. 1 that it has signed Peter, a midfielder who played for Chungbuk Cheongju.
Peter spent his youth career at FC Barcelona’s youth team, La Masia, and Stoke City FC. Since then, he has played more than 100 games in the Bulgarian and Finnish leagues, including Panionis, Mariehamn, and Slavia Sofia. Most notably, in the 2023 season, he joined Chungbuk Cheongju in the K League 2, where he scored seven goals and provided one assist in 32 league appearances. He was a consistent performer throughout the season and made a significant contribution to the team’s performance.
At 1.84 meters and 80 kilograms, 안전놀이터 Peter is a central midfielder with natural physical strength and energy. His work rate and passing ability, as well as his ability to shoot with either his right or left foot, are among his greatest strengths. He is also a tough defender and will be the engine of the midfield in 2024.
