Thomas and Beal will play on the same team.

The Phoenix Suns traded Bradley Beal (193 cm, G) this offseason to form a big three with Kevin Durant (206 cm, F) and Devin Booker (196 cm, G). Add in some veteran talent, and you have the makings of a contender.

But the reality was not pretty. Players went down with injuries. Durant, the oldest player on the roster, stepped up, 바카라사이트 but he didn’t have much help from the other players. Recently, both Booker and Beal have returned to the court and are back to full strength.

Still, Phoenix hasn’t been able to rebound in a convincing way. They have two wins and three losses in their last five games. They’re in eighth place in the West. They still have a chance to move up. They’re only half a game out of the sixth playoff spot.

However, Phoenix still has a long way to go if they want to win a championship. Recently, Phoenix signed veteran guard and “little giant” Isaiah Thomas (175 cm, G) to help spice things up. Thomas is averaging 33 points per game in the G League this season and is still showing off his scoring prowess.

One player was very happy to see Thomas join the team. Beal, who played with Thomas for the Washington Wizards in the 2019-2020 season. In an interview with the Burn City Suns, Beal talked about the signing.

“I’ve played against him and I’ve played with him. He’s an incredible player. Everyone said he was small, that he wouldn’t make it in the NBA. But he believed in himself and he achieved his goals. He beat the people who tried to stop him. Those things must have motivated him a lot,” he said.

“It’s the same now. He doesn’t have a place in the NBA. But it’s not about his ability. If he gets a chance, he can do it. He’s definitely motivated. That’s why we’re excited to see what he can do,” he added, welcoming his former teammate to the organization.

Thomas was the hope of the short guards, averaging 28.9 points per game in the 2016-2017 season. However, after leaving the Boston Celtics, he never quite found his footing and bounced around the NBA and G League. With a new opportunity, it will be interesting to see if Thomas can find a home in the NBA this time around.
