Now that I’m in charge of a league, I have even more responsibility.

The 2024 Basketball i-League will kick off in May. The Basketball i-League is organized and hosted by the Korea Sports Federation and the Korea Basketball Association, and is funded by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Promotion Organization.

The Basketball I League, which began in 2022 with the first 19 regions, expanded to 22 regions in 2023 and 24 regions in 2024, and has become a growing league every year. This year, Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, Suncheon, Jeonnam, Gimhae, Gyeongnam, and Gyeongsangbuk-do joined the 먹튀검증 I-League.

The Gyeongsangbuk-do Gyeongsangbuk-do League is managed by Ham Gil-ho, the secretary general of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Basketball Association, who until last year was in the Cheongju League in Chungcheongbuk-do.

“I learned from the Cheongju League last year,” said Ham Gil-ho. I saw and learned from the Cheongju League last year,” said Ham Gil-ho.

Unlike other city and provincial leagues, the Jipyeong League is a county-level league, and there is also the Cheongju League in nearby Chungcheongbuk-do, so it was expected that there would be difficulties in supplying teams.

“The Jipyeong League will be held in three divisions: elementary, middle, and high school,” said Ham Gil-ho, secretary general. We will recruit teams from nearby Cheongju as well as school sports clubs, and we expect 21 to 24 teams to participate in the Jipyeong League. The middle and high school teams have been recruited, and the elementary division is expected to fill up quickly.” “We are also confirming the schedule with the Jipyeong Sports Center, which will host the league,” he explained.

Secretary General Ham Gil-ho is now in charge of the league, which means he has a lot of responsibility.

“There will be many difficult parts, but with the help of Kim Soo-yeol, the executive director of the Chungcheongbuk Basketball Association, I will take care to make sure that it goes well without any major problems,” said Ham. “It was good to get good information through the workshops last year and this year, and to have my questions explained through the Q&A time. The activities of the Jipyeong County Basketball Association have been weak, but I will feel responsible with the Jipyeong Basketball I League and help develop the basketball infrastructure,” he vowed.
