Lee Hyun-Joong (Illawarra) helped Illawarra take the lead for good.
The Illawarra Hawks defeated the Cairns Typhoon 87-75 in the NBL 2024-2025 season at the Cairns Convention Center in Cairns, Queensland, Australia on Monday.
Tyler Harvey (20 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists) led the way, while Trey Kell (14 points, 2 rebounds, 7 assists) was also a force to be reckoned with. Illawarra, 엔트리 파워사다리 which improved to 5-1, remained in the lead.
Lee Hyun-joong had nine points, four rebounds and one blocked shot in 15 minutes and 12 seconds of action. He hit one of three three-pointers and made 6 of 7 free throws.
Entering the game for the first time midway through the first quarter, Lee calmly converted four free throws off of back-to-back fouls, and also grabbed rebounds with aggressive play. In the middle of the second quarter, he came back into the game and showed his presence on defense with a blocked shot.
In the second half, Lee stepped on the court and hit a long three-pointer. In the fourth quarter, he added two free throws. After being evenly matched with Cairns in the third quarter, Illawarra pulled away in the fourth to secure a comfortable victory.
