The biggest and richest poker festival in Europe this year is set to kick off on Thursday, 19 October with the €1,100 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold’em event. The series runs nonstop through 10 November.

In a week, the WSOP Circuit stops in Rozvadov, with 14 official gold ring events and more than €3 million in guarantees. So from 28 September through 10 November, nonstop WSOP action comes to central Europe. The WSOP Circuit schedule for King’s Casino can be found online.

A lot of great content is planned from WSOP Europe as well. PokerNews has signed on to be the official live reporting outlet for the event. So fans can follow all the bracelet event action via PokerNews and/or WSOP throughout the duration of the 22-day festival.

Robust live streaming is planned as well, with 14 total days of coverage. Both King’s and WSOP will offer free live streaming coverage of the majority of the bracelet events. Coverage begins when the official final tables are reached or that day’s play gets underway, all on a 30-minute delay with hole cards. The live streaming schedule is as follows:

  5. 30 October – Event #6 – €2,200 Pot-Limit Omaha — 2 p.m. local, 9 a.m. ET, 6 a.m. PT
  6. 2 November – Event #9 – €25,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller — 2 p.m. local, 9 a.m. ET, 6 a.m. PT
  7. 3 November – Event #10 – €111,111 High Roller for One Drop – Day 1 — 2 p.m. local, 9 a.m. ET, 6 a.m. PT
  8. 4 November – Event #10 – €111,111 High Roller for One Drop – Day 2 — 1 p.m. local, 8 a.m. ET, 5 a.m. PT
  9. 5 November – Event #10 – €111,111 High Roller for One Drop – Final Table — 2 p.m. local, 9 a.m. ET, 6 a.m. PT
  10. 6 November – Event #11 – €10,000 Main Event – Day 2 – noon local, 6 a.m. ET, 3 a.m. PT

In addition to live streaming, the Main Event and High Roller for One Drop are being taped for television.

To aid on the social media front, the one and only Kevin Mathers, aka @KevMath, will be on-site in Rozvadov for the duration to handle the Twitter feeds of both @WSOP and @PokerRoomKings.

A reminder that the 2017 WSOP Player of the Year race is still ongoing, with all 11 WSOP Europe gold bracelet events still factoring in the outcome. The current POY standings can be found online.

“We are really set up to have the biggest WSOP Europe ever,” said WSOP director Gregory Chochon. “With €18 million in guarantees, we expect to see the largest fields and prize pools for our European offshoot.”

A reminder for international travelers to have a passport on hand when entering the casino and to make sure they have proper banking and residence identification for when they receive winnings.
