“2024 FIVB Coach Course Level 1” was held from July 27 to 31 at Namseoul University and Cheonan Hyundai Capital Castle of Skywalkers. It ended successfully with a total of 58 domestic volleyball leaders and players participating.

FIVB Coaching Course Level 1 consists of basic theory and practical classes on volleyball guidance, and writing and practical tests. All 58 participants in this coaching course have passed the written and practical tests to complete the FIVB Coach Level 1 qualification.

The coach course was attended by instructors Paolo Montagnani and Martin Nemec as FIVB designated instructors. Instructor Paolo Montagnani has been the head coach of Morocco’s men’s team since 2023 and is a veteran instructor who has coached a number of club teams including Italy, Japan and Poland.
Martin Nemec, a lecturer who is familiar to domestic volleyball fans because he played for Korean Air and KB Insurance, coached a number of Slovak league teams from 2022 to 2024 and also served as a coach for Woori Card and IBK Industrial Bank volleyball teams from 2018 to 2022.

This coaching course was an opportunity for existing leaders with experience to check the efficiency of their teaching methods and training programs, to encounter and discuss the new training methods and strengths of FIVB instructors, and to think about how to incorporate them in the field.

In addition, for participants who are currently in their careers but dream of becoming leaders in the future, it was an opportunity to encounter guidelines on how to guide players as leaders, and at the same time, it became a time for inspiration and motivation for their leadership lives.

Participants greatly sympathized with the instructors’ message that they should always pay attention to overseas volleyball trends and study themselves because international volleyball trends are constantly changing. This coaching course was a meaningful time to share various opinions among participants.

The Korea Volleyball Association said, “By holding the FIVB leadership training course for the first time in Korea, we have provided valuable opportunities for domestic leaders to receive FIVB certification training. In addition, we will focus on distributing FIVB’s education system in Korea through continuous hosting of FIVB coaching courses in the future with the aim of fostering excellent players through fostering high-quality leaders, improving domestic player skills, and further strengthening the international competitiveness of the national team.”

“In parallel with the annual ‘Technical Guidance Class’ held by the association, we plan to create synergy to foster domestic leaders and strengthen their capabilities,” he added.메이저사이트
